Matt and I got married in June 2013 at Sweetwater Farm at Grace Winery. We had an amazing weekend with our friends and family! Here are some of our favorite memories of the day as documented by our photographer, Melissa Hassey:

During the months leading up to our wedding this web page was our wedding site where our guests could go for information about our venue and other event details. I don’t want to delete the original information yet so I’m leaving it here at the bottom of the page… enjoy! 🙂
Welcome to our wedding page. Matt and I are looking forward to sharing our wedding day with our friends and family on June 8th!
We are very excited about our venue, Sweetwater Farm at Grace Winery in Glen Mills, PA. The farm is a bed and breakfast and features a pool and hot tub, hiking trails, acres of vineyards, and an awesome restored bank barn with a great reception space. Directions:
Sweetwater Farm is located in Delaware County, approximately 19 miles west of Philadelphia and 9 miles southeast of West Chester. To get there, follow the directions below or click on the map for Google Directions.
From I-95 N – Take Exit 8 and follow Route 202 North for 7.5 miles towards West Chester. Turn right on Route 1 North and continue for 5.4 miles to the traffic light at Valley Road. Turn left onto Valley Road.
From I-95 S – Take Exit 7 to merge into I-476 North. See below for directions from I-476.
From I-476 – Take Exit 5 and follow Route 1 South towards Lima. Travel approximately 6 miles to the traffic light at Valley Road. Turn right onto Valley Road.
From Valley Road and Route 1 – Travel 1.3 miles down Valley Road to dead-end at Forge Road. Make a left on Forge and then an immediate right to continue on Valley Road for 0.6 miles. Turn left at the stop sign onto Sweetwater Road. Sweetwater Farm is located 0.5 miles down on the left.
Accommodations:
A block of rooms has been reserved at the Best Western Plus Concordville Hotel in Glen Mills under “McManus/Thorne wedding”. Reservations can be made by calling 610-358-9400 or by visiting this reservation site and entering the discount group code. Please send us an e-mail if you’d like the code.
We also hope to have several of our friends and our bridal party stay at Sweetwater with us. We’ll be in touch soon with details!
Registry
We are registered at Crate and Barrel and Bed, Bath and Beyond. We had a blast picking out exciting new kitchen gadgets, dining sets and home goods together!
