This week’s WordPress Daily Post Weekly Photo Challenge is “Changing Seasons.” I recently decided that my favorite time of year is in fact the transition period between seasons so I think this topic is fantastic!
Matt and I have lived in our house for nearly two years now and I often find myself taking photos of the view from the north-facing edge of our tiny deck. I have amassed quite a collection of photos throughout the changing seasons so I’ll use this Photo Challenge as an excuse to share some of them!

I enjoy the transition period as well. I love it when the flowers just start to bloom and when the trees just start to change color. It always feels like the world is renewing and reinventing itself!!
Yes! I totally agree. Except this morning when I realized that some of my daffodils are coming up now!! I wish they would wait until Spring rather than trying to steal some of the Fall-Winter transition’s glory… 🙂
What? Really? My one rose bush has some buds on it. it’s just crazy!
Maybe it is because we had some cold weather in November and then the weird warm spell in early December. I’m going to cover up the daffodils with shredded leaves and hope that they take the hint and stop growing!
